Ditte Johanne Krogh Bertelsen (b.1992) is a Copenhagen based artist.
Introduction to my praxis:
My work generally consists in the exploration of my body and the encounter with spaces. I’m curious about how I can use my body as a tool to translate emotions, sensations, and inner states to a bodily expression. I make use of my own body as I work with the recollected emotions and memories within it.
Often, the feeling chosen to work from arises out of a meeting with resistance. The works mainly consists of video, photography, performance, and installations. It is an intuitive work where coincidences that occur in the process add an extra layer.
